About Anne

Anne classifies herself as a “change phobe”. Or a planning-addict…take your pick. She’s lived in few different places, attended the same school for 9 years (graduate school included there!), has friends she’s known for 20 years, and has never changed her hair color. But over the past year, things haven’t been so predictable. Anne has experienced graduation, marriage, and a cross-country move. The changes are exciting, but also exhausting. Anne is ready to feel settled—and to begin living her life minus the constant state of flux.

Before, Anne’s answer would have been to begin making lists, creating goals, and planning the details of her new stable life. But lately Anne wonders if she can feel settled without outlining her life as though it’s a university lecture. So Anne is hoping to take a cue from Elizabeth and quit planning (in pen) the living daylights out of life. As for her fellow planning addicts out there—please join her as she attempts to throw away the pen, and live her life in pencil.
